Lead Relay is operated by Battle Maple, LLC. Lead Relay provides missed-call follow-up, administrative intake, scheduling, and appointment reminder technology for service businesses.

How the SMS Consent Flow Works

End users initiate contact by calling a business phone number displayed on that business’s website, ads, Google Business Profile, directory listings, or other business contact materials.

If the call is missed, unanswered, abandoned, or requires follow-up, the business may send a conversational text message in direct response to that user-initiated inquiry.

Text messages are used only for conversational and operational follow-up related to the user’s inquiry.

Example Call-to-Action Disclosure

A business using Lead Relay may display a phone number with a disclosure like this:

“By calling this number, you agree that the business or its intake technology provider may send conversational text messages related to your inquiry, including missed-call follow-up, basic intake questions, appointment scheduling, appointment confirmations, and appointment reminders. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help.”

Example Missed-Call Follow-Up Message

“Hi, this is Lead Relay for [Business Name]. We’re following up because you recently called [Business Name]. Please briefly share what happened, and we’ll help route your request. Reply STOP to opt out.”
